Our first trip together

Our journey to Puglia began with Maurine’s dream and her sincere desire to live in this charming region. When we embarked on our first trip together in September 2022, Julien was immediately captivated by the enchanting energy of Puglia. The picturesque villages, endless olive groves, and the warmth of its people fostered a deep connection within us.
During our first travels, the idea of creating something meaningful in this region began to take root. Puglia was more than just a holiday backdrop for us; it was a place where we wanted to anchor ourselves, share our love for the local culture, delicious cuisine, and the “dolce vita” lifestyle.
The crush for Trulli di Bacco
The turning point came during our property visits, an intense search to find the perfect place where our dream of a guesthouse would come alive. That's how we discovered Trulli di Bacco, an ancient farmhouse rich in history, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, nestled in the heart of the Itria Valley. The first time we stepped through its doors, it became evident: this was the place where we could create our haven of peace and share the timeless beauty of Puglia with the world.
